We pride ourselves on our efficiency. A Roadworthy Certificates / Safety Certificate inspection takes approximately 40-45 minutes, at a place, time & day convenient to you.

Once your vehicle passes the standard inspection process, you will be provided with the Roadworthy Certificate/ Safety Certificate on the spot. This document can then be used to sell or transfer the vehicle.

Vehicle sometimes fail. If your vehicle should fail the standard inspection, our Auto Inspections Qld approved examiner will provide a detailed report highlighting any necessary repairs.

Customers then have fourteen days to rectify the issues and call us back out for a re-inspection to issue the Roadworthy Certificate/Safety Certificate. This timeframe is stipulated by Queensland Transport.

Important Information!
  • The term Roadworthy Certificate and Safety Certificate are one in the same. In 1995 the term Roadworthy Certificate was changed and thereafter recognised as a Safety Certificate. Both terms (Roadworthy Certificate and Safety Certificate) are widely used but remember they are not separate inspections.
  • In Queensland, a Roadworthy Certificate/Safety Certificate must be obtained prior to a vehicle being offered for sale should the vehicle hold current Queensland Registration. This applies to all Vehicles, Trailers/Caravans/Horse Floats (over atm 750kg), Motorbikes & Trucks.
