Important Information!
  • The term Roadworthy Certificate and Safety Certificate are one in the same. In 1995 the term Roadworthy Certificate was changed and thereafter recognised as a Safety Certificate. Both terms (Roadworthy Certificate and Safety Certificate) are widely used but remember they are not separate inspections.
  • In Queensland, a Roadworthy Certificate/Safety Certificate must be obtained prior to a vehicle being offered for sale should the vehicle hold current Queensland Registration. This applies to all Vehicles, Trailers/Caravans/Horse Floats (over atm 750kg), Motorbikes & Trucks.
